Why Is This Matter and Why NGFWs?

A firewall sits in the middle of all crucial pathways and gets the facts from the wire. It detects a wide range of suspicious and malicious activities from one central location.

Traditional firewalls block ports, this no longer protects you! You need a next generation firewall to allow/deny traffic based on actual payload. This automatically protects you against many potential attacks.
